Step 1: Measure your desired length

Wrap the belt around your trousers, ensuring that the centre of the track (the
serrated track on the back) ends up approximately in the middle of your trouser button or zip.

The belt should extend slightly past the first belt loop after the buckle for a neat and functional fit.

Mark your desired cutting point – it's better to start a little too long, so you have room to adjust.

Step 2: Cut the belt to size

Use sharp scissors to cut the strap to the marked length.

Always cut the blunt end – that is, the end where the buckle will be attached.

Step 3: Attach the buckle

Open the buckle's clamp on the back and insert the newly cut end of the belt all the way in. Close the clamp so it grips the leather firmly.

Test the belt by putting it on and fastening it. If it's still too long, you can trim a little more off.
