Guidance
Step 1: Measure your desired length
Wrap the belt around your trousers, ensuring that the centre of the track (the
serrated track on the back) ends up approximately in the middle of your trouser button or zip.
The belt should extend slightly past the first belt loop after the buckle for a neat and functional fit.
Mark your desired cutting point – it's better to start a little too long, so you have room to adjust.
Step 2: Cut the belt to size
Use sharp scissors to cut the strap to the marked length.
Always cut the blunt end – that is, the end where the buckle will be attached.
Step 3: Attach the buckle
Open the buckle's clamp on the back and insert the newly cut end of the belt all the way in. Close the clamp so it grips the leather firmly.
Test the belt by putting it on and fastening it. If it's still too long, you can trim a little more off.

Traditional belts can only be adjusted hole by hole, which often means the belt is either a little too tight or a little too loose. With Nobase's micro-adjustable system, you get 32 adjustments with 0.5 cm between each click, so the belt always fits exactly as it should – all day long.
Can the belt be adjusted to my size?
Yes. All Nobase belts come in 135 cm and can easily be cut to the desired length with a regular pair of scissors. The buckle is then reattached in seconds. The belt only needs to be adjusted once.
How does the belt without holes work?
Instead of traditional holes, Nobase uses a discreet micro-adjustable track system on the back of the strap. This allows for 32 precise adjustments with 0.5 cm between each click, so you can always find the perfect fit.
Is it difficult to get used to?
Not at all. Most people get used to the system the first time they use the belt. It can be fastened and unfastened with one hand and quickly adjusted throughout the day – without taking the belt off.
Can I change the buckle or strap later?
Yes. All Nobase buckles and straps are compatible within the same width. You can therefore easily replace the strap, change the colour, or give the belt a new look without buying a completely new belt.
